After the rewrite
Every custom shortcode below exports as literal square brackets. The receiving system has no idea what any of them mean.
An enclosing shortcode wraps content that must survive even if the wrapper is dropped. A regex that strips shortcodes greedily eats the sentence along with the brackets.
A self-closing shortcode with attributes, resolving against another post entirely:
Unit conversion, which is arithmetic rather than text: 250 g and 180 ml.
And the genuinely unanswerable one — a shortcode with no fixed output, because it depends on the month you are reading it in:
There is no correct static HTML for that block. Freezing today's answer produces a page that is wrong for eleven months of the year, and wrong without saying so. Copyright A Food Lover.
